About Forefront Living Hospice

Forefront Living Hospice (formerly Faith Presbyterian Hospice) is the hospice and palliative-care arm of Forefront Living, a Dallas-based senior living and health services organization. The hospice program provides inpatient and community-based hospice and palliative services, and historically operated the T. Boone Pickens Hospice & Palliative Care Center, a freestanding inpatient hospice in Dallas. The organization operates as a mission-driven, donor-facing nonprofit supported by the Forefront Living Foundation and partners with other nonprofits and providers to expand access to hospice care. Forefront Living Hospice maintains an active public presence, recent organizational updates, and ongoing program activity through the Forefront Living website and foundation communications.

Notable achievements

Opened T. Boone Pickens Inpatient Hospice Center

Established the T. Boone Pickens Hospice & Palliative Care Center as Dallas’s first freestanding inpatient hospice facility (centered on providing residential and specialized hospice care).

Integrated hospice services into Forefront Living system

Expanded hospice and palliative services across the Forefront Living family of communities, linking inpatient, in-home, and community-based supports and fundraising through the Forefront Living Foundation.

Recent strategic partnership to sustain services (2026)

Completed a transition/partnership with Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Texas in 2026 to align hospice operations and ensure continuity and expansion of inpatient and in-home hospice care in the Dallas area.
