About GIRLS INCORPORATED OF METROPOLITAN DALLAS

Girls Incorporated of Metropolitan Dallas is a long-running, donor-facing 501(c)(3) affiliate of the Girls Inc. national network that delivers research-based, girls-only programming focused on healthy living, academic enrichment (including STEM), and life skills. The affiliate operates afterschool, summer, and partner-based programs across the Dallas region and emphasizes mentorship, college and career readiness, and a whole-girl approach. In recent years the organization has expanded cohort-based STEM programming (Eureka!), launched Project Accelerate to support young women ages 18–24 through internships and career placement, and reported measurable outcomes showing gains in academic attitudes, leadership confidence, and job-readiness. Girls Inc. Dallas publishes annual reports and audited financials and maintains an active web and media presence for donors and partners.

Notable achievements

Verified program reach (FY2024)

In fiscal year 2024 the affiliate reported empowering 4,045 unique girls from underserved communities through partnerships with 44 schools and community organizations, delivering hundreds of hours of programming and thousands of meals to participants.

Eureka! five-year STEM cohort

Operates a multi-year Eureka! STEM program that engages middle- and high-school girls in immersive STEM activities, college experiences, job-shadowing, and internships to build skills and sustained interest in STEM careers.

New young-adult transition program

Launched Project Accelerate to extend Girls Inc. services into postsecondary transitions (ages 18–24) with internships, career placement, and continued mentorship to support college and early-career success.
