About THE NATIONAL COWGIRL MUSEUM AND HALL OF FAME INC
The National Cowgirl Museum & Hall of Fame (The Cowgirl) is a nonprofit museum in Fort Worth, Texas, dedicated to honoring and interpreting the lives and legacies of women who have shaped the American West. The organization operates a permanent Hall of Fame, rotating and traveling exhibitions, and an archives and research library that preserve artifacts and stories of cowgirls, ranchers, entertainers, artists, and other trailblazing women. The Cowgirl’s collections and Hall of Fame enshrine more than 260 women and the museum’s archives house over 4,000 artifacts and related materials, supporting public exhibits, loans, and research.
