About SAFEHAVEN OF TARRANT COUNTY

SafeHaven of Tarrant County (now operating as The Archway) is the primary provider of comprehensive domestic violence services in Tarrant County, offering crisis intervention, emergency shelter and transitional housing, legal advocacy, child support services, offender programming, and community prevention initiatives. The organization operates a 24/7 crisis hotline and a coordinated continuum of care that combines direct services with research and systems-level innovation to improve community response to intimate partner violence. In 2025 SafeHaven rebranded as The Archway to reflect its expanded focus on both life-saving survivor services and system change; across the last 2–3 years the agency has strengthened school-based prevention (SafeSchools), expanded partnerships with criminal justice and first responders, and secured multi-year public funding to scale comprehensive victim assistance across the region.
