About ALL SAINTS HEALTH FOUNDATION (Baylor Scott & White All Saints Health Foundation)

All Saints Health Foundation is a separately incorporated 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization that raises and stewards charitable support for Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center (Fort Worth/Dallas region). The foundation funds patient support programs, clinical services, medical education, and capital and technology priorities that enhance care across cancer, heart and vascular, transplant, women and children, and related service lines.

Founded in the early 1980s, the foundation partners with more than 4,000 active donors — individuals, corporations and private foundations — to support hospital programs and community-facing initiatives. Its fundraising includes signature events and targeted campaigns (for example, Beyond the Bag to support the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center) and it maintains multi-year grantmaking and endowment activity to sustain patient navigation, education, and research efforts.

Longstanding institutional support

Established in the early 1980s with an initial gift from the Ella C. McFadden Charitable Trust, the foundation has operated for decades as the primary philanthropic vehicle supporting Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center.

The foundation has grown to hold net assets in excess of $100 million in recent fiscal years, enabling multi-year grants, endowment support for patient navigation and sustained funding for clinical priorities.

Major annual fundraiser — Beyond the Bag

The foundation’s Beyond the Bag gala is a long-running signature event that has raised millions for the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center and in recent iterations has generated six-figure proceeds (the 15th annual event raised over $600,000) to support nurse and lay navigator services and other non-medical patient supports.
