DALLAS CHILDRENS THEATER INC

Dallas Children’s Theater (DCT), founded in 1984, is a professional, nonprofit family theater based in Dallas, Texas that produces plays, educational programming, and year-round classes for children and families. The organization describes itself as the largest professional family theater in the Southwest and serves metropolitan and surrounding communities through productions, school matinees, outreach, and its DCT Academy.

DCT operates a full season of family-oriented productions plus specialty performances (including sensory-friendly and ASL-accessible shows), extensive arts-in-education offerings such as the Student Matinee Performance Series, and classes and camps for youth. In the last 2–3 years the organization has continued in-person seasons and education programming and has announced leadership updates and new season lineups reflecting active community engagement.
