About DALLAS CHILDRENS ADVOCACY CENTER

Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) is a Dallas-based children’s advocacy center that coordinates multidisciplinary investigation, prosecution, and healing services for children who are victims of abuse. The organization provides child-centered forensic interviews, trauma-informed clinical care, family advocacy, and multi-agency coordination to reduce retraumatization and support justice processes. DCAC operates at scale in Dallas County, offering direct services to thousands of children and families each year while also delivering extensive professional training and community prevention programs. DCAC reports serving 12,000+ children and families annually, training 54,000+ professionals and community members each year, and coordinating work across roughly 40 partner agencies. As a regional and national leader, DCAC hosts the long-running Crimes Against Children Conference and other public-facing events (Art for Advocacy, Mahjong for a Mission, prevention campaigns) that raise funds, advance professional practice, and increase public awareness of child abuse prevention and response.
