About MEDISEND COLLEGE OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
Medisend College of Biomedical Engineering Technology is a Dallas-based nonprofit college that offers accelerated, hands-on training in biomedical equipment technology, including an ACCET-accredited Associate of Applied Science degree and shorter BMET certificate programs. The college emphasizes practical, hospital-grade experience and industry partnerships to prepare graduates for careers as field service engineers and biomedical equipment technicians.
Medisend operates a dual mission: workforce development (with targeted programs for U.S. military veterans, including participation in DOD SkillBridge and a veterans-focused program chaired by General Richard B. Myers) and humanitarian work that refurbishes and ships medical supplies and equipment to under-resourced hospitals in developing countries. In the last 2–3 years the college has published updated catalogs and maintained accreditation while making its 2022 Form 990 publicly available, reflecting continued operating activity and program delivery.
