About LEARNING FOR LIFE

Learning for Life is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit (incorporated 1991) headquartered in Irving, Texas, that develops and delivers PreK–12 character education, leadership and career-readiness curriculum and programs for use in schools and community organizations. The organization operates a national delivery network (with over 200+ local offices) and the Exploring career-education program for older youth, and reports serving millions of students since its founding. Learning for Life’s curriculum is research-informed, aligned to state and national standards, and designed to support academic performance, social-emotional maturity, and civic and career preparedness. In recent years Learning for Life has continued to update and promote its curriculum materials, support local implementation and advisor training, and maintain partnerships that keep its Exploring career posts active; its national board and executive leadership remain engaged in Scouting/Exploring and broader youth-development communities.
