About HOUSING CHANNEL
Housing Channel is a Fort Worth–based 501(c)(3) housing nonprofit and certified Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) that develops, acquires, rehabilitates, and resells homes and provides homebuyer education, counseling, and down-payment assistance across North Texas. The organization combines development work (new construction and rehabilitation) with homeowner counseling and subsidy administration to support wealth-building through stable homeownership for income-qualified households.
In recent years Housing Channel has continued leading signature neighborhood revitalizations and affordable developments while administering municipal and county homebuyer assistance programs. In its most recent filings the organization reported multimillion-dollar annual revenues and substantial program spending, maintaining a high program-to-overhead ratio and actively delivering projects and counseling services across Tarrant County and neighboring cities (notably projects completed or active during 2022–2024).
