About FAMILY COMPASS

Family Compass is a Dallas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 75-2400158) that delivers long-term, voluntary, and no-cost home-mentoring and community education programs aimed at preventing child abuse and strengthening family stability in Dallas and Collin counties.

The agency operates nationally recognized curricula (Parents as Teachers; Triple P) and a clinical Parent Aide program, serving pregnant and parenting youth, families in transitional housing, and parents identified as at elevated risk for abuse or neglect. Family Compass maintains audited financials and directs the majority of its resources to program services.

Recent organizational activity includes published annual impact reporting (2023) and continued program expansion into 2024–2025, with growth in families served and sustained foundation and United Way funding to support home visiting, community seminars, and therapeutic services.
