About Mosaic Family Services Inc

Mosaic Family Services is a Dallas-based nonprofit that provides comprehensive, culturally and linguistically competent services to refugees, immigrant survivors of domestic violence, and victims of human trafficking. Services include emergency shelter (Mosaic House), transitional housing, legal representation (family and immigration law), mental health counseling, case management, citizenship assistance, and safe release support for unaccompanied minors. In 2023 Mosaic reported serving 1,286 refugees through Social Adjustment and Citizenship programs, 525 unaccompanied minors through homestudy and safe release support, and 483 family violence and human trafficking survivors with shelter, counseling, legal assistance, and case management.

In 2023 Mosaic reported that 90% of refugee clients obtained or retained health insurance as a result of its case management and referral services.

Mosaic House long-term impact

Since opening Mosaic House in 2001, the shelter has provided safety and wraparound services to thousands; the organization reports over 4,400 women and children have been served at Mosaic House since its opening.
