Midtown Dallas Inc (Midtown Improvement District) represents property owners, businesses and residents in Dallas’ Midtown District and works to improve quality of life through infrastructure investment, public safety and community programming. The organization advocates for public funding, implements beautification and mobility projects, and runs neighborhood-facing events and services to strengthen the district.

About MIDTOWN DALLAS INC

Midtown Dallas Inc (also operating as the Midtown Improvement District) was established in 1993 to manage and advance the Midtown District of Dallas through coordinated infrastructure improvements, public safety partnerships, beautification, mobility projects and community programming. Notable achievements

Secured major TXDOT grant for Midtown trail

In March 2026 Midtown Dallas Inc successfully secured a $10.5 million grant from the Texas Department of Transportation to support a pedestrian and bicycle trail that will improve connectivity to DART, the SoPac Trail and area medical and commercial nodes across the district.

Large-scale community events and direct impact

Midtown organized multiple neighborhood programs in 2024–2025 including back-to-school fairs and supply distributions (serving approximately 1,000 youth at a single event in 2025), health and wellness fairs, and BookIt/reading events that distribute free books to students across the district.
