In March 2026 Midtown Dallas Inc successfully secured a $10.5 million grant from the Texas Department of Transportation to support a pedestrian and bicycle trail that will improve connectivity to DART, the SoPac Trail and area medical and commercial nodes across the district.
Large-scale community events and direct impact
Midtown organized multiple neighborhood programs in 2024–2025 including back-to-school fairs and supply distributions (serving approximately 1,000 youth at a single event in 2025), health and wellness fairs, and BookIt/reading events that distribute free books to students across the district.
