About NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS TRAUMA REGIONAL ADVISORY COUNCIL INC
The North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council (NCTTRAC) is a Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established by legislative mandate to serve as the regional administrative body for trauma and emergency healthcare systems in North Central Texas. It provides system oversight and coordination across Trauma Service Areas (TSAs) C, D, and E and brings together hospitals, pre-hospital providers, first responder organizations, public health partners, and other stakeholders. In the last 2–3 years NCTTRAC has continued regional system planning and preparedness work, published an updated Regional Trauma System Plan (FY24) and an FY25 annual report, and operates the TSA‑E Medical Coordination Center (EMCC) to support regional medical coordination during large incidents. The organization files annual Form 990s and maintains audited financials reflecting multi‑million dollar annual budgets used to support regional coordination, preparedness, education, and data systems. NCTTRAC’s ongoing programs include regional trauma system planning, the EMCC medical coordination and surge management, preparedness and response training, and injury prevention and public education initiatives aimed at strengthening regional emergency care and disaster readiness.
