About NOVA CHARTER SCHOOL

NOVA Charter School (operating under the Nova Academy name) is a Dallas-based tuition-free charter school organization that operates multiple campuses in southeast Dallas (including Prichard, Scyene and Bruton). The campuses serve early childhood and elementary/middle grade levels (campus grade ranges vary; Nova operates Pre-K and K–6 through Pre-K–8 programs across its sites).

The organization is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) education provider with a locally governed board and an on-site superintendent. In recent years Nova has continued campus operations, published school report cards and conducted community programs (including reading initiatives and local events) while reporting multimillion-dollar annual revenues and program spending on its annual IRS Form 990 filings.
