About Collin County Master Gardeners Association

Collin County Master Gardeners Association (CCMGA) is a volunteer, donor-facing 501(c)(3) partner of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service that provides horticultural education, demonstration gardens, and community outreach across Collin County, Texas. Myers Park Earth‑Kind Research & Demonstration Gardens

CCMGA designed, installed and continues to maintain multi‑bed research and demonstration gardens at Myers Park (installed beginning in 2009), providing hands‑on education and local plant trials for residents and extension programs.

International Master Gardener Award

Recognized with the International Master Gardener Association’s Search for Excellence First Place Award for Research (Earth‑Kind Perennial Research Garden), reflecting the organization’s contributions to applied horticultural research and demonstration.
