Children's Advocacy Center for Kaufman County

The Children’s Advocacy Center for Kaufman County (EIN 75-2956071) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to coordinate investigation, prosecution, and treatment of child abuse cases across Kaufman County. Services include forensic interviews, trauma-informed mental health counseling, family advocacy, and case coordination delivered in a child-friendly setting at no cost to families. The center operates as an accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance and works as part of a multidisciplinary team with law enforcement, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS), prosecutors, medical providers, and community partners to minimize trauma and improve investigative and intervention outcomes. In recent years the organization has served roughly 400–500 children per year and has conducted fundraising and a capital campaign to expand its facility and program capacity.
