Canine Partners of the Rockies, Inc.

Canine Partners of the Rockies (CaPR) is a Colorado-based nonprofit (established 2002) that raises, trains, and places mobility service dogs for people with mobility-limiting disabilities and facility dogs for professionals working in therapeutic, educational, and healthcare settings. The organization focuses exclusively on Colorado so it can provide individualized matching, team training, and lifetime follow-up support.

CaPR is an Assistance Dogs International accredited 501(c)(3) organization that operates a volunteer-driven puppy-raising program, a professional advanced-training phase, and a structured team-training process; placements are provided without a placement fee and CaPR provides ongoing assistance to teams throughout the working life of the dog. Recent organizational work includes a brand refresh, expanded media partnerships, and continuing placements and community outreach across Colorado.
