About TARRANT COUNTY MEDICAL SOCIETY ALLIANCE FOUNDATION INC

Tarrant County Medical Society Alliance Foundation Inc (TCMSA Foundation) is the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the Tarrant County Medical Society Alliance, a long-standing membership organization that connects physician families in Tarrant County through service, advocacy, education and fundraising. The Foundation raises and distributes funds for community health initiatives (including vaccination clinics, allied health scholarships, Project Access and child safety programs), runs signature fundraisers such as The Medicine Ball, and partners with local and state medical organizations to expand access to preventive care and health education. The organization is active and donor-facing with an up-to-date website, recurring public events, and documented program activity in 2023–2026 supporting immunization clinics, scholarships, and community health outreach.

Notable achievements

Large back-to-school vaccination effort (2025)

Supported and staffed the 2025 back-to-school vaccination clinics that prepared more than 6,500 children to start the school year fully vaccinated; the Foundation typically contributes $15,000–$20,000 annually to immunization clinic programming.

Allied Health scholarship support

Through a joint scholarship committee with the Tarrant County Medical Society, the Foundation awarded scholarships to local allied health students (in recent years distributing approximately $49,400 in 2025 and $36,250 in 2023, divided among scholarship recipients) to help train the next generation of local healthcare professionals.

Sustained fundraising through The Medicine Ball

Operates a longstanding annual fundraising gala (The Medicine Ball) that is the primary donor vehicle to fund the Foundation’s community health initiatives and sponsorship programs; proceeds directly support vaccination programs, scholarships, Project Access and other outreach.
