About ACCOUNTING EDUCATION FOUNDATION OF THE TEXAS SOCIETY OF CPAS INC

The Accounting Education Foundation of the Texas Society of CPAs (AEF), now operating under the public-facing brand AcctoFi, is the charitable, education-focused affiliate of the Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA). It advances accounting education by providing scholarships, awards, outreach and professional learning to aspiring accountants and working CPAs. In recent years the Foundation has expanded scholarship support and student outreach while launching a dedicated identity (AcctoFi) to raise visibility for its pipeline and education programs. The Foundation awards competitive scholarships to college students pursuing accounting, supports student-facing events and partners with firms and organizations to deliver certificate programs and career-focused learning. The Foundation is governed as an affiliate of TXCPA and maintains public nonprofit filings and financial disclosures. It is positioned to support both pre-certification students and licensed professionals through targeted scholarships, educational programming and partnerships with regulatory and industry bodies.

Scholarships awarded

The Foundation awarded multiple competitive scholarships to accounting students (51 scholarships reported in a recent year) and distributed six-figure scholarship grants in its scholarship program, directly supporting college students pursuing accounting education.

Rebrand to AcctoFi

The Foundation rebranded its public-facing nonprofit work as AcctoFi to elevate visibility for its education and philanthropic programs and to create a distinct platform for student scholarships, awards and professional learning.

Program partnerships and new offerings

The organization has expanded programmatic partnerships and offerings—including collaborations with law and accounting firms and new certificate programs—to provide practical, career-focused learning and broaden pathways into the profession.
