About TACA, Inc.

TACA, Inc. (The Arts Community Alliance) is a Dallas-based public charity that provides funding, advocacy, and capacity-building to performing arts organizations and artists across Dallas County. Its work includes grant programs, commissioning support for new works, and major annual fundraising events that mobilize regional philanthropic support for the arts.

In recent years TACA has expanded grantmaking and programmatic initiatives (including Catalyst Grants, the New Works Fund, Arts Accelerator and Pop-Up Grants) with an explicit focus on amplifying underrepresented artists and strengthening neighborhood arts organizations. TACA also convenes the long-running TACA Silver Cup Award Luncheon, a major annual fundraiser and recognition event for arts volunteers and patrons in North Texas.
