About CHINESE COMMUNITY CENTER INC

The Chinese Community Center (CCC), founded in 1979 and based in southwest Houston, operates as a multi-service community hub delivering education, cultural programs, and social services to a multilingual population. CCC runs early childhood and youth programs, adult ESL and citizenship classes, workforce and financial coaching, benefits enrollment, and a range of senior services including adult day activity and wellness programs. In recent years CCC completed a facility expansion (the New Horizons project) that enabled new senior and wellness programming, and its 2024 reporting indicates the organization serves more than 20,000 people annually from diverse backgrounds. CCC partners with local funders and municipal programs to deliver targeted services for immigrant families, low- and moderate-income residents, children and seniors, and organizes public cultural events and annual fundraising galas to support operations and community engagement.
