About HOUSTON MASTERWORKS CHORUS INC
Houston Masterworks Chorus (HMC), founded in 1986, is a 501(c)(3) community chorus based in Houston, Texas that presents choral masterworks alongside innovative, cross-disciplinary programming that reflects the city’s cultural diversity. As of May 2026, HMC is led artistically by Dr. Justin Langham and is marking its 40th Anniversary Season; recent seasons emphasize community collaboration (more than twenty unique partnerships annually) and engage over 140 local musicians across performances and educational projects.
