THE ROSE

THE ROSE is a Houston-based nonprofit breast center that provides screening, diagnostic imaging, treatment navigation and patient support with a mission of expanding access to breast health care for all regardless of ability to pay. The organization operates fixed-site diagnostic centers and a fleet of pink mobile mammography coaches that bring screening and diagnostic services into communities across southeast Texas.

In recent years The Rose has continued to scale outreach and technology: its mobile program extends to hundreds of community sites and its clinical operations have adopted a new Radiology Information System to improve scheduling, patient access to records, and turnaround times. The organization combines imaging services with a nationally recognized patient navigation program to move patients quickly from screening to diagnostic workup and, when needed, into treatment and support services.
