About Da Camera Society of Texas

Da Camera Society of Texas (DACAMERA) is a Houston-based presenting organization that produces internationally recognized chamber music and jazz programming, a subscription concert series, a Young Artist career-development program, in-school education initiatives, and free community concerts. The organization commissions and premieres new works, partners with high-profile soloists and ensembles, and presents multi-genre festivals and special productions across Houston venues such as the Wortham Theater Center and Menil Collection. In the last several seasons DACAMERA has presented world-premiere works and major visiting artists while maintaining a robust education slate—continuing the Young Artist Program and delivering classroom and community performances. DACAMERA operates as an active, donor-facing 501(c)(3) organization with a sustained public web presence, recent Form 990 filings, and ongoing season programming through at least the 2026–2027 season.
