About THE ARBOR SCHOOL

The Arbor School is a Houston-based nonprofit special education school serving children with a wide range of developmental delays and disabilities from infancy through age 18. The organization provides highly individualized educational programs (classroom ratios that never exceed 2:1), integrated therapy services, and family-focused supports designed to develop functional skills and increase independence. The Arbor operates a consolidated campus on Knoll Street (moved into a new 28,970 sq. ft. facility in 2021), accepts students regardless of diagnosis, and reports that it receives no government or United Way funding.
