About BREAD OF LIFE INC

Bread of Life, Inc. is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides large-scale food distributions, community health navigation, and housing supports for people experiencing crisis. The organization operates monthly food and supply distributions, a Community Care program with community health workers, and partners to develop permanent supportive housing. In recent years (2023–2025) Bread of Life expanded its services and partnerships — including a permanent supportive housing project (Knowles-Rowland House), increased mental-health and case-management funding, and ongoing collaborations with the City of Houston and regional food partners — reaching over 200,000 individuals through its programs and relief distributions.
