About EDUCATION FOR TOMORROW ALLIANCE

Education for Tomorrow Alliance (EfTA) is a Conroe, Texas–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that connects the business community and K–12 schools across Montgomery County to advance career readiness, leadership development, and STEM education. EfTA runs five core program areas — Career Connections, Future Focus, Next Generation Leadership, the SCI://TECH Exposition, and the Student Internship Program — delivering hands-on, employer-linked experiences for students from elementary through high school. In the most recent placement cycle (summer 2024) EfTA placed 174 students through its Student Internship Program, and its SCI://TECH exposition continues to engage thousands of K–12 students each year. Founded in 1989 (incorporated as a separate 501(c)(3) following initial development) EfTA maintains active partnerships with local school districts, Lone Star College–Montgomery, area employers, and both the Conroe/Lake Conroe and The Woodlands chambers of commerce to expand volunteer, internship, and STEM competition opportunities for students.
