Air Alliance Houston
Air Alliance Houston's mission is to reduce air pollution in the Houston region and protect public health and environmental integrity through research, education, and advocacy.
About Air Alliance Houston
Air Alliance Houston is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) environmental advocacy organization that uses community air monitoring, research, public education, and governmental advocacy to address air pollution and advance environmental justice. The organization focuses on reducing the public-health impacts of industrial and climate-driven pollution, concentrating work in communities disproportionately burdened by toxic emissions. In the past 2–3 years Air Alliance Houston has published multiple data-driven reports and event analyses (including emissions event reports for 2024 and monitoring for Hurricane Beryl), released Year 1 findings from its Community Air Monitoring Program (C.A.M.P.), and produced research and policy briefs used in public debate about monitoring requirements (including work on I-45 air quality monitoring in 2024 and emissions analyses in 2023–2025). The group continues to combine on-the-ground monitoring, technical analysis, and community-facing education to inform residents and decision-makers about pollution exposures and risks.
Notable achievements
Community Air Monitoring Program (C.A.M.P.) Year 1

Climate & Emissions Event Reporting
Produced timely, quantitative reports documenting emissions from climate and industrial events (including Hurricane Beryl and a 2024 derecho), quantifying event-related releases and raising public awareness of episodic pollution impacts.
