About SOUTHERN TEXAS PROFESSIONAL GOLFERS ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION

PGA REACH Southern Texas (operating as the Southern Texas Professional Golfers Association Foundation) is the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the Southern Texas PGA Section, headquartered in Spring, Texas. The Foundation organizes junior golf programs, awards college scholarships, runs PGA HOPE clinics for veterans, and supports employment and internship pathways into the golf industry. In recent years the Foundation has continued to scale its programming across Southern Texas, announcing scholarship recipients and expanding PGA HOPE and internship placements in 2024–2026. The Foundation partners with PGA REACH/PGA of America, local golf facilities, sponsors, and community organizations to deliver year-round clinics, tournaments, and education initiatives that serve youth and veterans.

Scholarship Program Milestone

The Foundation’s scholarship program has awarded hundreds of college scholarships since its founding, providing meaningful financial support to junior golfers pursuing higher education.

PGA HOPE Expansion

PGA HOPE veteran clinics and partnerships were expanded in the 2024–2026 period, increasing access to adaptive and therapeutic golf programming for veterans and active-duty service members.

Workforce Development & Internships

The Foundation supports career pathways through PGA WORKS and seasonal internship programs, placing interns in golf operations and industry roles (including a 2026 cohort of summer interns).
