QUILLIAN MEMORIAL CENTER INC

Quillian Memorial Center (operating as Quillian Center) is a Houston-based recreational and youth-services nonprofit affiliated with First United Methodist Church of Houston. Founded in 1958, the center operates a multi-use recreation campus (pools, gymnasium, fields, playgrounds, camps and after-school programs) that serves children, youth, adults, and seniors in the West Houston/Westchase area.

Quillian Center runs fee-based after-school care, an American Camp Association–accredited summer day camp, public swim and pool rentals, youth sports, enrichment classes, and community events. The organization has filed annual Form 990 returns in recent years (fiscal years 2022–2024) and maintained active operations and a public event calendar through 2026, demonstrating continued program delivery and community use.

Programs are open to church members and the wider public; the center emphasizes affordable programming, volunteer and internship opportunities, and seasonal activities (notably weekly summer camp sessions beginning after Memorial Day and regular open-swim and pool-rental offerings).
