About LIGHTHOUSE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES

Lighthouse Christian Ministries (LCM) is a donor-facing, Christ-centered nonprofit based in Bacliff, Texas that provides emergency assistance, food distribution, a community resale shop, educational supports, and health/dental outreach to low-income and underserved families in the upper Galveston Bay area. LCM operates a resale shop that funds operations and offers affordable goods, a staffed food pantry and monthly mobile distributions, short-term financial assistance and educational programs including youth summer camp and scholarships. In recent years LCM completed a pantry remodel (2024) and launched The D.O.C.K., a community space for discipleship, outreach, and youth programs (groundbreaking 2024; opened 2026).

Completed a full remodel of the on-site food pantry in 2024 to expand capacity and improve distribution efficiency for weekly and monthly food programs.

Opened The D.O.C.K. (2026)

Launched The D.O.C.K. — a multiuse space for Discipleship, Outreach, Community, and Kids — with a community open house in April 2026 to host expanded youth and outreach programming.

Sustained Resale Revenue Model

Operates a long-running resale shop whose donated-item sales provide steady operational revenue and affordable goods for low-income families, enabling continued program delivery.
