About GREATER HOUSTON VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION

Greater Houston Volleyball Association operates publicly as the Texas Tornados Volleyball Club (TTVB) and is a long-running, donor-facing 501(c)(3) volleyball organization serving the Houston area. Across its history (1994–2022 and continuing), the club has qualified and sent over 100 teams to USA Volleyball (USAV) National Championships, producing numerous national-level finishes and podium results.

Large local participation and financial assistance programs

For the 2022–2023 season the club reported enrolling over 300 girls across age groups and has formal sponsorship/fundraising efforts to provide financial assistance so athletes can participate despite rising program costs.

Established multi-court training facility and event host

The organization operates a state-of-the-art, multi-court training facility used for club practices, regional developmental tournaments, camps, and recruiting events, enabling the club to host recurring tournaments and community programs.
