About HISPANIC HEALTH COALITION INC

Hispanic Health Coalition (HHC) is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) coalition founded in 1996 that advances health equity for Houston’s Hispanic and Latino communities through education, advocacy, research and community programs. The organization's stated priorities include obesity, cancer, health promotion and access to care.

HHC operates donor-facing programs including an annual scholarship program for Hispanic students pursuing healthcare careers, the ¡Vive tu Vida! Get Up! Get Moving! family physical-activity and healthy-lifestyle event, and the Latino Health Summit for community leaders and health professionals. HHC’s EIN (76-0609180) has been verified in public nonprofit records and appears on the organization’s public filings and materials.

HHC has been active in the last 2–3 years: it held the 2024 Latino Health Summit (in partnership with local public health partners), ran its 2024 scholarship program with named recipients and opened 2025 scholarship applications, and continued outreach through community events and newsletters.
