RIVER OAKS FOUNDATION INC

The River Oaks Foundation is a neighborhood-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit established to maintain and enhance the historic landscape and public green spaces of Houston’s River Oaks community. The organization raises funds from local residents, families, and foundations to finance restoration, landscaping, and long‑term maintenance projects that preserve the original garden-like design of the neighborhood. In recent years the Foundation has completed major esplanade landscaping along River Oaks Boulevard, advanced park and walkway restorations, and run annual community fundraising events (Party in the Park) to support an endowment intended to sustain ongoing upkeep and repairs. The Foundation operates with volunteer leadership from neighborhood residents and publishes filings demonstrating its finances and activities publicly.
