About KELSEY RESEARCH FOUNDATION

Kelsey Research Foundation is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) public charity founded by leaders of the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic to promote biomedical research and health education. It facilitates and manages clinical trials for Kelsey-Seybold patients and collaborates with academic, hospital and industry partners in the Texas Medical Center and beyond.

The foundation supports clinician-initiated studies, community-focused health education, and continuing medical education for health professionals. In recent years it has continued to bring industry and academic clinical trials to the Houston area and to expand research partnerships that aim to improve patient outcomes.

Clinical trials facilitation

Operates a clinical trials program that brings investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials to Kelsey-Seybold patients and the Houston community, increasing local access to experimental therapies and research opportunities.

Research partnerships

Developed ongoing collaborations with hospitals, universities, and research organizations in the Texas Medical Center to support multi-institution research and translational studies.

Medical education support
