FUND FOR TEACHERS A FOUNDATION TO RECOGNIZE STIMULATE AND ENHANCE

Fund for Teachers is a national nonprofit based in Houston that awards competitive fellowships and grants to preK–12 educators so they can design self-directed professional learning experiences that directly improve classroom practice and student outcomes. Since its founding in 2001 the organization has scaled to serve teachers across the United States and around the world; in recent years it has awarded annual fellowship cohorts and new programmatic offerings (Innovation Circles and targeted partner fellowships) to support teachers working with underserved and rural student populations. In the last 2–3 years Fund for Teachers has continued active grantmaking at scale—awarding large summer fellowship cohorts each year, establishing new philanthropic partnerships, and reporting multi-year investment milestones showing the organization’s expanding national reach and measurable impact on classroom practice.
