Yellowstone Academy Inc

Yellowstone Academy Inc (doing business as Yellowstone Schools) is a Houston-based, faith-rooted school organization serving PreK through 12th grade out of the Third Ward neighborhood. The organization operates a private Christian lower school and a tuition-free public charter upper school (Yellowstone College Prep / partnership with IDEA Public Schools) and provides academic instruction, transportation, meals, and wraparound student supports. In the last 2–3 years Yellowstone has published audited financial statements for FY22–23, expanded its upper-school program and dual-enrollment offerings (designated an Early College High School), and reports serving students across PreK–12 (more than 700 students systemwide on recent organizational materials). The school explicitly focuses on serving economically disadvantaged children and families from Houston neighborhoods with limited educational options.
