Sarah's House
The Mission of Sarah’s House is to be a community resource and safely bring victims of domestic violence and homelessness towards self-sufficiency.
About Sarah's House
Sarah's House is a Pasadena, Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates an emergency shelter and complementary services for women and children experiencing homelessness and survivors of domestic violence. The organization provides short-term residential shelter, case management, rapid rehousing assistance, a food pantry, and resale store fundraising to support program operations. In recent years Sarah's House refocused programming toward domestic violence survivors and expanded services: it launched Non-Residential Services in 2023 (outreach, counseling and pantry access), grew its emergency shelter capacity through 2021–2025, and added an organizational housing-assistance program in late 2025. The charity reports regular grant funding from local foundations and community partners and files annual IRS Form 990s reflecting mid-sized annual revenues and assets.

Added a Non-Residential Services Program to provide outreach, counseling, food pantry access, and other supports for survivors who do not require immediate shelter, expanding reach into the broader community.
