The Synopsys Silicon Valley Science & Technology Outreach Foundation (Synopsys Outreach Foundation) is a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation founded in 1999 that supports project-based STEM learning for K–12 students and teachers across the Greater Bay Area. The Foundation runs grant programs, supplies classroom materials, offers teacher training, and sponsors community STEM events to broaden access to hands-on science and engineering experiences. In recent years the Foundation has continued active programming and community events (including its signature sciencepalooza! family STEM fairs), distributed classroom supplies and teacher grants, and partnered with local education organizations; the Foundation reports enabling an estimated 150,000 students and teachers annually and cites multi-year cumulative impact from its work since founding.
