ARVADA CHORALE COMPANY
The Arvada Chorale is a community chorus that welcomes singers of all ages and abilities; its mission is to perform high-quality choral music to enrich Front Range audiences and to build a multigenerational community of singers.
About ARVADA CHORALE COMPANY
Founded in 1977 as a resident ensemble of the Arvada Center, the organization became an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in March 2009 and has been an active community chorus in the Denver Front Range region since that time.
The Chorale produces an annual concert series (holiday, spring and summer programming), collaborates regularly with local orchestras and youth ensembles, and emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion while keeping participation and ticket prices accessible.
In recent seasons (2022–2025) the Chorale has performed major choral works, presented holiday programs, and partnered on new-works and educational projects, including a commissioned world premiere performed with the Colorado Children’s Chorale in May 2025.
Notable achievements
Independent 501(c)(3) status
Transitioned from a center-affiliated ensemble to an independent nonprofit and obtained 501(c)(3) recognition in March 2009.
World premiere collaboration (May 2025)
Commissioned and presented a new work in partnership with the Colorado Children’s Chorale as part of the 2024–2025 season.
Performances of major choral repertoire
Recent seasons have included performances of substantial works (examples from recent years include Mozart’s Requiem and Conrad Susa’s Carols and Lullabies) demonstrating artistic range and community engagement.
