About COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE ALLIANCE FOR TOMORROWS EMPLOYEES

The Commercial Real Estate Alliance for Tomorrow’s Employees (CREATE) is a San Francisco–based nonprofit alliance of industry trade groups that develops talent pipelines for the commercial real estate (CRE) sector through college-level instruction, mentorship, internships, and employer connections. Since 2012 CREATE has delivered a signature Fellows curriculum and ancillary programming in partnership with regional colleges and CRE employers, educating hundreds of students and helping roughly 30% of program participants transition directly into industry roles. In recent years CREATE expanded its Fellows Online program to include students from multiple 2- and 4-year institutions and has continued to document graduate hiring outcomes and employer placements.

Notable achievements

Since 2012 CREATE has delivered a 16-module Fellows curriculum in partnership with San Francisco State University and, more recently, expanded to include students from Chabot College, CSU East Bay, Diablo Valley College, Dominican University, Menlo College and others.

Measured hiring outcomes

CREATE reports that approximately 30% of Fellows program participants have been hired directly into commercial real estate roles following program completion, demonstrating a measurable placement impact for entry-level industry hiring.

Program growth and large cohorts (2024–2025)

In the 2025 program year CREATE launched its largest single in-person cohort (60 students at San Francisco State University) and celebrated multiple 2025 graduates who secured industry positions through CREATE mentorship and employer connections.
