About STARGATE FOUNDATION
Stargate Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization that serves as the facilities- and capital-focused supporting organization for Stargate Charter School. The Foundation’s primary purpose is to finance, construct, own/maintain, and manage school facilities that enable the school’s K–12 gifted education programs.
In recent years the Foundation has played a central role in capital stewardship and facility operations that support more than 1,500 students in the Stargate School community. Financial filings through mid-2024 show the Foundation actively funding and managing significant program-services-related activity and capital assets to support ongoing school programs and campus needs.

Development and upkeep of modern campus
Financed, constructed and continues to maintain the modern Stargate campus (located at Washington Street in Thornton), creating long-term instructional facilities for K–12 gifted education, including the high school facility opened in 2015.
Sustained capital stewardship (recent fiscal activity)
Across recent filings through fiscal year 2024 the Foundation reported multi-million-dollar program-service activity and substantial capital assets, reflecting active financial support for school facilities and program continuity.
Enabling student programs and competitive teams
By providing and maintaining the facilities and infrastructure, the Foundation has helped enable student experiences in robotics, performing arts, athletics and international trips (examples include state-level team successes and a 2024 Ecuador/Galapagos trip organized by the school).
