About INSTITUTE FOR RACIAL EQUITY AND EXCELLENCE

The Institute for Racial Equity and Excellence (IREE) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides culturally responsive supports for early childhood systems, child care licensing, workforce development, early childhood mental health, and language justice. Its services include community-based licensing and monitoring, trainings and professional development for the early childhood workforce, and programs to advance equitable outcomes for dual-language learners. In recent years IREE has expanded program scale and funder partnerships: its licensing and program services reported multi-million-dollar annual revenues and programmatic activity that included monitoring thousands of licensed child care facilities across multiple Colorado counties, delivering early childhood mental health supports for providers and families, and developing certificate-level training for multilingual learners with foundation funding. Leadership and finance records show timely public Form 990 filings and ongoing grant support from national and state funders.
