About CAREERWISE COLORADO

CareerWise Colorado is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit intermediary that builds and operates modern youth apprenticeship programs connecting high school students and early-career learners with paid, employer-led on-the-job training, related instruction, and industry-recognized credentials. The organization partners with employers, school districts, community colleges and state agencies to deliver multi-year, paid apprenticeships that combine classroom credit with workplace experience and progressive wage increases so apprentices can earn while they learn and graduate with career-ready credentials. In the last 2–3 years CareerWise has expanded its model nationally, developed an apprenticeship management technology platform (The Hub), and launched targeted pilots — including a Teacher Degree Apprenticeship — focused on serving economically impacted participants and increasing equitable access to career pathways.

Notable achievements

Scaled national apprenticeship network

Grew the CareerWise model beyond Colorado to support thousands of youth apprentices and hundreds of employer partners, connecting apprentices across dozens of school districts and states to paid, registered youth apprenticeship opportunities.

Built The Hub apprenticeship platform

Developed and deployed an end-to-end technology platform to manage hiring, matching, training, tracking, and credentialing at scale, reducing administrative friction for employers, schools, and intermediaries.

Launched Teacher Degree Apprenticeship pilot

Piloted a teacher degree apprenticeship that serves individuals facing barriers to traditional degree attainment (including economically impacted and New American participants), producing measurable placement earnings above local living-wage benchmarks and demonstrable early retention and credential outcomes.
