LATINO CULTURAL ARTS CENTER

The Latino Cultural Arts Center (LCAC) is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) organization that centers Latinidad through exhibitions, workshops, performances, mentorship, and cultural programming. The organization operates citywide programming and is building a permanent cultural campus — Las Bodegas — to house studios, a digital media lab, classrooms, and community spaces.

LCAC focuses on cultural preservation, workforce pathways for youth and emerging artists, and community health through culturally grounded arts programming such as Ofrendas (Dia de los Muertos altars), public art mentoring, and wellness-linked arts initiatives. Without a permanent home until recently, LCAC has reached thousands annually through festivals, in-school workshops, and public events and is transitioning into a brick-and-mortar innovation hub to expand those services.

LCAC situates creative practice as a tool for economic empowerment and intergenerational connection in historically underinvested neighborhoods (Sun Valley / La Alma), emphasizing participatory processes, cultural stewardship, and partnerships that link art to mental health, environmental literacy, and local career pathways.
