Canvas Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public foundation that shares its hearts with Colorado communities by directing resources and volunteer support toward schools, families, military members, veterans and first responders.
About Canvas Foundation
Canvas Foundation (est. 2016) is the independent philanthropic arm associated with Canvas Credit Union. The foundation operates as a public 501(c)(3) grantmaking and community-support organization focused on strengthening local schools, supporting families in need, and assisting military members, veterans and first responders.
In the last 2–3 years Canvas Foundation has combined direct grants, employee-led fundraising and volunteer campaigns to support disaster relief, children’s health initiatives, scholarship recipients and community nonprofit partners across Colorado.
Notable achievements
Children’s Hospital donation
Donated fundraising proceeds to Children’s Hospital Colorado (six-figure support across recent campaigns) to benefit pediatric care and related programs.
College scholarships awarded
Awarded five-figure totals in college scholarships to dozens of students from Canvas communities in recent years, helping cover tuition and related costs.
Marshall Fire relief fundraising
Helped raise and direct a substantial amount (more than $200,000 across campaigns) to support Marshall Fire victims and related relief efforts.
