About Women's World On Wheels
Women's World On Wheels (Women’s WOW) is a U.S.-based nonprofit that empowers women who use wheelchairs through immersive, camp-centered programming designed to build confidence, physical skills, community, and professional development.
The organization’s flagship offering is an annual multi-day camp (historically held in Empire, Colorado) that combines recreational activities, adaptive-skill workshops, and peer community building; Women’s WOW also runs year‑round virtual and local events to keep participants connected.
Since gaining tax-exempt status and formal nonprofit registration, Women’s WOW has expanded programming and announced plans to lengthen its summer camp schedule and introduce a winter camp offering in coming years.
