About Artstillery

Artstillery is a Dallas-based nonprofit (founded 2016) that creates site-specific and immersive performances addressing racial, cultural, and social injustice. Its process begins with community engagement and oral-history research, which the company weaves into multidisciplinary productions incorporating projection, sound, installation, and live performance.

The organization operates year-round from a West Dallas space where it runs community programs, apprenticeships in stagecraft and production, and partners with civic and cultural institutions to translate community narratives into public-facing work. In recent years Artstillery has mounted high-profile collaborations and received municipal arts support while reporting growing program activity on its IRS filings (notably increased revenues and expanded program service activity in the 2022–2024 filing cycle).

Notable achievements

Municipal arts funding and increased program capacity

Secured City of Dallas cultural support and other grants in the past 2–3 years, enabling expanded productions, year-round community programming, and paid participation for community collaborators.
