The Downtown Business Alliance (DBA) exists to promote and activate Downtown Parker, drive foot-traffic and business to the district, build awareness for downtown merchants, and create lasting community connections. Note: the organization is classified as a 501(c)(6) business league (a membership-based business alliance), not a 501(c)(3).
About Downtown Business Alliance of Parker
The Downtown Business Alliance of Parker (DBA), operating as Downtown Parker, is a membership-based nonprofit business league that represents and markets the downtown Parker commercial district and its businesses.
DBA programs focus on events and street activation, member marketing and advocacy, and collaborative efforts with the Town of Parker and other partners to increase visibility and customer traffic for downtown businesses.
In recent years the DBA has assumed leadership for long-running community traditions and expanded signature events (notably taking on the Parker Hometown Christmas Parade in 2022 and launching an expanded Holiday Market in subsequent years) to support local merchants and attract regional visitors.
Notable achievements
Assumed Parker Hometown Christmas Parade (2022)
Took responsibility for organizing and fundraising for the town’s long-running parade starting in 2022, preserving an important community tradition.
Launched/expanded Holiday Market
Added an O’Brien Park Holiday Market in the years following 2022 to create a small-business-focused shopping experience and extend holiday programming.
Grew district event platform and membership
Expanded signature events (for example Trunk or Treat and seasonal community gatherings) and sustained a membership base of local business owners and managers representing Downtown Parker.
